Here are some links to photography-related sites I've found interesting, informative, entertaining or inspirational.

The Beaford Archive features images of rural life in north Devon, in the south west of England, many of them by James Ravilious (see also below).

Eric Kim Street Photography features street photography from Los Angeles, Paris, Lebanon, London and Korea.

Evan Joseph is an architectural, interiors and lifestyle photographer, whose website includes some magnificent shots of New York City at night taken from a helicopter.

Henri Cartier-Bresson, the French photographer often regarded as the father of modern photojournalism, who recognised the importance of the "decisive moment" for taking a picture.

James Ravilious spent 17 years from 1972 photographing the landscape, people and activities of a small area of north Devon in the south west of England on a commission from Beaford Arts, creating some 70,000 images. (See also The Beaford Archive, above.)

Lenscraft features the landscape photography of Robin Whalley, from Saddleworth in the north of England.  It features galleries and useful info about photography techniques, equipment and locations.

Mark Berkery's site Being Mark features amazing close-up photographs of insects and other small creatures in Australia, along with some interesting philosophical thoughts on photography and life.

Mark Sykes Photography features images of the England, Wales, the US and New Zealand, including some beautiful shots of public buildings in my beloved north of England.

Miss Aniela aka Natalie Dybisz creates beautiful and fantastical photos with a "how does she do that?" feel. You'll also find her on Flickr.

Vivian Maier recorded life in New York, Chicago and elsewhere during the 1950s to 1990s but her photographs were discovered at an auction in Chicago only after her death.
